Clear Nose. Clear Ears. Clear Head.
Nose, Ear and Throat (Sinus and Allergy) Care, with a focus on breathing and sleep.
Your nose, sinuses, throat and ears are gateways to breathing and sleep. When blocked, infected or inflamed, everything suffers. We diagnose precisely, treat conservatively when possible, and operate only when it will genuinely help. And we always ask: Is this connected to your asthma? Your sleep?
Problems We Commonly See
From stuffy noses to recurring sinus infections, from allergies that won't quit to ear problems affecting your hearing, we see the full range of ENT conditions and treat them with a focus on long-term relief.
Sinusitis
Sinusitis is inflammation of the sinus cavities around your nose and eyes. It can be caused by infection, allergies or structural problems like a deviated septum. Acute sinusitis usually clears in a few weeks, but chronic sinusitis (lasting more than 12 weeks) needs proper evaluation and targeted treatment.
When to see us
How we diagnose and treat
We start with a detailed history and nasal endoscopy to see inside your nose and sinus openings. A CT scan is done when chronic sinusitis is suspected or surgery is being considered. Treatment begins with nasal sprays, saline rinses and antibiotics if infection is present. If medical treatment fails, FESS (endoscopic sinus surgery) can open blocked sinuses and restore drainage.
Allergic Rhinitis
Allergic rhinitis is an overreaction of your nose to things like dust mites, pollen, mould or pet dander. It causes sneezing, runny nose, nasal blockage and itchy eyes. Left untreated, it can worsen asthma, disturb sleep and lead to chronic sinusitis. The good news is that with proper testing and treatment, most people can get significant relief.
When to see us
How we diagnose and treat
We identify your specific triggers through skin prick testing or blood tests. Treatment includes avoiding triggers where possible, nasal steroid sprays, antihistamines, and in suitable cases, immunotherapy (allergy shots or sublingual drops) to desensitise you over time. We also check if your allergies are connected to asthma or sinus problems.
Deviated Septum and Nasal Polyps
A deviated septum is a crooked wall between your nostrils that can block one or both sides of the nose. Nasal polyps are soft, painless growths in the sinuses that can obstruct breathing and reduce smell. Both are common causes of chronic nasal blockage and snoring. Surgery is effective but only recommended after conservative treatment has been tried.
When to see us
How we diagnose and treat
Nasal endoscopy shows us the septum and any polyps directly. A CT scan helps plan surgery if needed. For polyps, we first try steroid sprays or short courses of oral steroids. Septoplasty straightens the septum, polypectomy removes polyps, and FESS opens the sinuses. Most procedures are done endoscopically with no external scars.
Ear Problems
From ear infections and wax blockage to hearing loss and dizziness, we diagnose and treat the full range of ear conditions. Ear problems can affect balance, hearing and quality of life. We use microscopic examination and hearing tests to find the cause and offer medical or surgical treatment as appropriate.

We understand that the idea of ENT surgery can be worrying. Our approach is to try medical treatment first and operate only when it will make a real difference. When surgery is needed, we use modern endoscopic techniques that are precise, minimally invasive and have faster recovery times.
Septoplasty
Straightening a deviated septum to restore airflow through the nose. Done under general anaesthesia, usually as a day case. Recovery takes 1 to 2 weeks with nasal packing for the first day or two.
FESS (Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery)
Endoscopic opening of blocked sinus passages to drain infection and restore ventilation. Precise, minimally invasive and done through the nostrils with no external cuts.
Nasal Polypectomy
Endoscopic removal of nasal polyps that block breathing and reduce smell. Often combined with sinus surgery to prevent recurrence.
Turbinate Reduction
Shrinking enlarged turbinates (the tissue inside your nose) to improve airflow. Can be done with radiofrequency, coblation or surgical trimming.
Ear Procedures
Ear drum repair (myringoplasty), ear tube insertion for recurrent infections, and removal of ear wax under microscopic guidance.
ENT and Sleep
Many sleep problems start in the nose and throat. A blocked nose forces you to breathe through your mouth, which makes snoring worse. Enlarged tonsils or a floppy soft palate can obstruct the airway during sleep, causing snoring and sleep apnea. A deviated septum or nasal polyps can make CPAP therapy difficult to tolerate.
At Respire, our ENT and Sleep specialists work together. If your sleep study shows obstruction, we assess whether fixing your nose or throat can help. For some patients, surgery on the septum, turbinates, tonsils or palate can reduce or eliminate the need for CPAP.
